My life has taken some very interesting and very unexpected twists and turns. After
moving around a great deal, living in places like New York, London and Paris, I have come full circle. I now find
myself settled in Patterson, New York, surrounded by many happy memories and many wonderful friends..
I graduated from Penn State University with a degree
in Journalism and Advertising. I spent the next fifteen years working in New York City as a television and radio
producer.
And then my values shifted. I moved to the country and
focused my energy in a different direction.
After
giving birth to my two daughters, I realized how challenging the job of mothering can be, particularly with no extended family
close by. In order to connect with and reach out to other women,I organized and became the founder of The Mother's
Connection of Patterson and Pawling New York. This was a group organized for mothers of young children who
were feeling isolated and in need of support.
I was elected to the Board of Education for the Carmel Central School District
running on a platform which advocated for a parents' right to have a voice in decisions concerning the education of their
children.
I was also Coordinator of the Transition Assistance
Network at the American Community School in England.This position allowed me to help families adjust to living abroad.
I'm a graduate of CoachU's Advanced Coach Training Program which has provided me with
a unique and powerful approach to Personal Growth. I am also a graduate of the Relationship Coaching Institute's
Conscious Dating for Singles program which has provided me with innovative tools to support singles in developing successful
relationships. I have been trained in Conflict Resolution at Norwalk Community College. I am a member of the Coachville
Community and the International Coaching Federation.
I have been through many changes in my life. Some have brought me great happiness and
some have brought me to my knees. But I have managed to learn something about myself and grow from each transition and
I now find myself in this perfect place. Coaching is my passion. Partnering with others and sharing all the lessons
I've learned along the way brings me great joy.
